Articles on: Information for publishers

What is a unique impression?

A unique impression is an impression generated from an IP address that is unique in the scope of the whole advertising network during a day.

If a website visitor has seen any A-ADS banner anywhere today, s/he won't generate a unique impression until tomorrow. If there are several ad units on the same page, only one of them can receive a unique impression (the one that loads first).

The average ratio of unique/non-unique impressions is about 1:30 currently, but it varies significantly from site to site. Most impressions are not unique, but it is not essential since all publishers are in an equal position.

If your website generates unique impressions daily, then you get a share of the expenses of our advertisers for displaying their ads.

Otherwise, we display affiliate ads on CPA terms, and you get paid only when they attract customers to A-ADS or its advertisers. This might appear more profitable if you've got high quality traffic.
