Accepted Answer

To understand our payment policy, you'll need to know how any online advertising operates:

Ad networks have advertisers who target specific demographics (e.g., geographical location, web browser language, user age, the type of device, etc.)
Ad networks have publishers who offer their traffic to the advertisers

Here are situations when your earnings might not be satisfactory and how you can mitigate the issue:

We don't have advertisers targeting your location or your audience language - unfortunately, in this case, there's little we can do to increase your earnings
You limit advertisers by filtering specific categories of ads, e.g., Gambling or Investments - you can enable at least these two categories
Your audience is not engaged enough, e.g., your users never click on our banners - our advertisers not only expect clicks that are easy to fake but conversions
Our algorithms have identified your website as low-quality (e.g., it contains zero valuable up-to-date content) - improve your website

Please mind that:

A-ADS does not guarantee any earnings
A-ADS cannot guarantee the same earnings for the same traffic
A-ADS pays our publishers 80% of our daily advertising budget depending on the share of your globally unique traffic within the entire A-ADS network
Our daily budget varies greatly as advertisers come and go and have varying CPM
Our advertisers don't target all countries and languages. We would love to pay for all your traffic but we can't

How are unique impressions counted? Are the numbers correct?

Accepted Answer

We have a different method of counting unique impressions: we only count globally unique impressions as unique. Our numbers differ from those shown in Google Analytics or other ad networks.

One IP can be counted as unique every 24 hours across the entire A-ADS network when calculating globally unique impressions. So, when a visitor (considered as one IP) first sees our ads on our publishing sites, it creates a unique impression. It does not make another unique impression throughout the day, regardless of the sites/pages they visit or ads they see.

As a result, the number of unique impressions you see on our network will typically be lower than those you see elsewhere. But don't be concerned - it doesn't affect your earnings as the counting method is the same for all our publishers.

How to fix empty targeting

Accepted Answer

The status "empty targeting" means that there are no ad units that match your campaign's settings and targeting criteria.

The most prevalent causes and solutions:

You enabled "Show banners only" but did not upload the banners that correspond to the sizes of the targeted ad units

Either disable the Show banners only option or upload the necessary banner sizes.

You target expensive traffic sources but did not set a high enough Max CPM value for your CPD-campaign

Go to your Campaign => Payment model page and set the Max CPM to the maximum allowed value (between 0.5 to 1 btc). | Remember that Max CPM is not an actual CPM and works like a filter. More info in our helpdesk article.

You target only a few sites/ad units that don't generate traffic, don't match your campaign's settings, or have rejected your ad

Add more sites/ad units or entire categories, or disable the options that may exclude the ad units from your targeting, such as:

Approved sites only (beta)
Show banners only
You use Geo-filtering, but the targeted ad units have less than 30% of traffic from the selected countries

Add more countries or don't use Geo-filtering.

**Your ad has a rating that the selected traffic sources do not allow. **

Try to fix your ad or select other traffic sources. Contact support if your ad is rated incorrectly.

General recommendations:

Increase Max CPM
Upload more graphical banner

Question 5

How do I create an ad unit for a site with many pages (each with unique or dynamic URL)?

Accepted Answer

You can create an ad unit for one page and use it on all other pages within the same domain. Make sure the pages share the same domain name. Otherwise, your impressions won't be counted as unique.

Our bot will verify whether the ad unit HTML code is present at the specified URL to calculate the ad unit's display rate.

How can I see my ads published on your sites?

Accepted Answer

Actually, there's no easy way to do it, but it can be done.

First, you need to know the sites that promote your ads. Go to your "Campaign => Traffic sources => Exclude from campaign" page and see a list of ad units that generate traffic for your campaign (sorted by non-unique clicks).
Сlick any of the ad units and check its campaigns at the Ad Unit => Campaigns page. Here you should be able to find your campaign and the percentage of traffic bought by it. But if you don't - then probably your ad is no longer displayed on the ad unit, please check another one a similar way.
Go to the ad unit's site and reload it until you see your ad.

| Please make sure your browser language matches your country, and ad language, otherwise, you won't see the ad.
